Non-urgent advice:Dr Rachael Davies the North Arden PCN Clinical Director has said:
"I'm very excited that this project has now started in collaboration with George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust, Veterans Contact Point, Nuneaton & Bedworth PCN and Warwickshire County Council. The North Arden PCN team have worked hard to support the roll out and our practices are keen to improve identification of our patients who are veterans, and their families, so they can be supported to access veteran specific services, as well as meeting any identified health needs as a result of the checks. It was a privilege to meet with veterans at the launch event and hear their stories."
As a PCN we have pledged to support our ex-military as best we can, and we would like to urge our patients if you or a member of your family is a veteran registered with one of our practices, please click on the appropriate link below to fill out a short form to inform your surgery of your status. This will help your surgery to better accommodate your needs as a military veteran and signpost you to the services that will help you most.
