Sleepstation

We at the North Arden PCN are delighted to have been awarded funding to enable free access to Sleepstation for another 12 months from late 2023.

What is Sleepstation?

Sleepstation combines psychology and sleep science with dedicated support to help people get great sleep. Their online sleep support programme is one of the most effective in the world. Designed by experts, backed by science and delivered with care, Sleepstation gives you all the tools and guidance you need to sleep better.

When we sleep well, everything feels better. Conversely, when sleep is disturbed the negative impacts are far-reaching. Most people feel comfortable about talking about their sleep and through these discussions we can unearth and address other issues, such as anxiety, depression and stress, which people may feel less comfortable talking about. Sleepstation uses psychological techniques coupled with decades of sleep science to address and resolve sleep and associated mental health problems.

Through their web-based service, they provide the necessary support and guidance to help people recover from even the most chronic sleep problems.

Sleepstation is a clinically validated solution to a widespread problem. Their online programme has been approved and trusted by the NHS in the UK since 2012 and is used by some of the UK’s largest employers. They take the time to understand each person’s sleep in detail in order to provide realistic and manageable plans to address individual needs and circumstances. Sleepstation delivers remote care with a personal touch and that’s what makes it so effective. Get in touch with us today to discuss how we can help you.

Proven solution to most sleep problems

The techniques that are used can improve sleep for the vast majority of people. However, if you have one of the health conditions listed below then some of the techniques that Sleepstation uses might not be helpful for you.

CBTi is not recommended for people with:

Seizures, epilepsy, psychosis, history of a psychotic episode, bipolar disorder, mania, schizoaffective disorder, schizophrenia or a personality disorder because it can make symptoms worse.

Severe untreated anxiety, untreated PTSD or a circadian rhythm disorder, as evidence shows that it’s better to treat these things first.
